Women's Ministries

The Women's Ministry plays a vital role at First Baptist Church. Our goal is to serve the Lord through serving our church family and the community. Among the many things we are involved in, the women of First Baptist serve meals for funeral services, business meetings, and other events.

We meet annually in August to plan fellowship events throughout the year. We have participated in writing Valentine notes for the military and shut-ins, and making blankets for our missionaries in the Ukraine. We also attend community events for charities such as Someplace Safe.

The Women's Ministry also serves through praying for the needs of the Church body. If you have a prayer need, please call the church office at 634-4344.

Woman Studying Bible

We have been offering a non-denominational Women's Bible Study for over two years. This is a time for women of the community to gather together to strengthen their relationship with God. We also provide peer support through fellowship.

We have three studies throughout the year - Summer, Fall, and Winter using 12-week study guides. In the past we have used the Women of Faith series and a Max Lucado study on James.

We meet weekly on Monday nights and welcome anyone who would like to join us.
